On Thursday 15 October 2026 we’re hosting our annual Plate 4 Plate Day. The success of these events relies on 4,000+ volunteers to help pack 1 million meals, and lots of burrito & bowl eaters heading to restaurants to order on the day to double donations globally - and we need your help too!
On Thursday 15 October 2026 we’re hosting our annual Plate 4 Plate Day volunteer meal packing events. The success of these events relies on 4,000+ volunteers to help pack 1 million meals, which is why we need you.
Meal packing events are the perfect volunteer day for organisations to treat their team to an exciting and impactful event jam-packed with 3 hours of hands-on fun - you’ll leave feeling good about your contribution to end world hunger.
Can't Volunteer? You can still support Plate 4 Plate Day with double donations in all 350+ Zambrero restaurants. This means customers who simply order Zambrero on the day will double donations for every burrito, bowl or Kids Zam meal you purchase. Make it a Feel Good Mex Day and order Zam catering for the team. Thanks for helping us end world hunger!
DRESS CODE:
We'll be working hard together to pack thousands of meals so please wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes (preferably sneakers, for packing and dancing to Feel Good tunes).
ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Please arrive at your meal packing event location 15 - 20 minutes early to allow time to sign in, put on a stylish hair net and receive a warm welcome from the Zam Fam followed by an event and safety briefing.
HUNGRY?
To eliminate cross contamination into the meal packs on the day, we will not be able to provide food to eat on site. We recommend eating before you come. However, water, energy drinks and light snacks will be available to keep the energy levels high.

CHANGE OF PLANS?
If your plans have changed and you are no longer able to make the event please contact us ASAP so we can gather more helping hands, P4P Day wouldn't be possible without all our volunteers.
In this case, we also hope you can visit your local Zambrero restaurant on the day for a Feel Good Mex meal to support double donations on Plate 4 Plate Day!
