ZAM FAM Rewards Terms & Conditions

The ZAM FAM Rewards Program is a member-based program whereby you must register  and opt-in for to earn points for qualifying purchases and gain access to ZAM FAM exclusive offers, products, events and promotions. By joining our ZAM FAM, you agree to these Terms. You should read both these Rewards Program Terms & Conditions, our General Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy carefully.

In these Terms, Zambrero or us means Zambrero Pty Ltd ABN 68 125 085 930.

  1. Joining the ZAM FAM Rewards Program

    1.1. To join the ZAM FAM Rewards Program you must register to create an account (a “Zambrero Account”) using a valid mobile number on our Australian website or Zambrero App and opting in for the ZAM FAM Rewards Program.

    1.2. Note you can order through our Zambrero App without being a ZAM FAM member but you must still have a valid Zambrero Account however cannot earn points or gain access ZAM FAM benefits without opting in as a ZAM FAM member.

    1.3. Only one ZAM FAM account is permitted per person.

    1.4. You must be 15 years or older to join the Zam Fam.

    1.5. No fees are charged by Zambrero for the issue, registration, activation or use of a Zambrero Account or a ZAM FAM Rewards program membership.

  2. Earning ZAM FAM points

    2.1. Once you become a ZAM FAM Rewards member you earn 10 points for every $1.00 (AUD) you spend. This means you will earn one ZAM FAM point per $0.10 spent on qualifying purchases either in a Zambrero restaurant throughout Australia, through the Zambrero App or through the Zambrero website using your valid account.

    2.2.
    Refer to your Zambrero App ZAM FAM rewards account for confirmation of your current points balance and/or redemption history.

    2.3.
    The following are not considered qualifying purchases and will not earn points:
    (a) items purchased using points or vouchers;
    (b) any purchases made through a third party (including DoorDash, UberEats, or other delivery providers); and
    (c) fees incurred through delivery orders purchased through the Zambrero App or the Zambrero Website:
          i. delivery fees;
          ii. service fees; and
          iii. delivery tips.

    2.4.
    To earn points you must either:
    (a) For purchases made through the Zambrero App or Zambrero website; log into your registered ZAM FAM Rewards account before placing an order.
    (b) For purchases made in restaurant; scan your ZAM FAM digital membership card which can be accessed in the Zambrero App, mobile wallet before payment. Or,
    (c) For purchases where you are unable to access your digital membership card; provide your mobile number associated with your registered ZAM FAM account to the team member at the checkout point of sale system

    2.5.
    Unless there is a system error or unavoidable interruption, we aim to allocate your earned points to your points balance within 24 hours of the eligible purchase, provided that your purchase is confirmed as delivered by the relevant delivery partner or successfully paid through the in-restaurant POS.

    2.6.
    Points have no cash or monetary value and cannot be taken or redeemed as cash or equivalent.

    2.7.
    Points cannot be shared with anyone else or combined across multiple accounts.

    2.8.
    Points expire on the first day of the month which is 12 months after they were first earned. Points will remain in your Zambrero App until they are redeemed or until they expire, whichever occurs first.

    2.9.
    We may deduct from your points balance any points:
    (a) credited to your account balance as a result of an error;
    (b) relating to a transaction that has been cancelled, reversed or refunded; or
    (c) relating to any suspected fraudulent activity.
    We will notify you of any such deductions.

    2.10.
    If you paid for a purchase using ZAM FAM points and that order is cancelled and goods purchased are not received, we will credit back to your ZAM FAM account the equivalent amount of points.

    2.11.
    You can check your points balance at any time in the Zambrero App.

    2.12.
    We will do our best to make sure that ZAM FAM points are correctly awarded to your ZAM FAM account; however, we take no responsibility for errors associated with crediting ZAM FAM points to your ZAM FAM account. We reserve the right to correct the balance of your ZAM FAM points if we reasonably believe any suspicious or fraudulent activity or a clerical or accounting error has occurred in relation to your ZAM FAM account.

    2.13.
    If you believe that points from your eligible purchase have not appeared in your Zambrero App ZAM FAM Rewards account or you believe that they were calculated incorrectly, you will need to contact us and provide your receipt. We have the ultimate discretion to award points and we accept no responsibility for any loss suffered as a result in delay in awarding points, except to the extent permitted by law.

  3. Offers and vouchers

    3.1. From time to time, we may offer promotional offers and vouchers to ZAM FAM members. Any such offers or vouchers will be available through the Zambrero App.

    3.2.
    New ZAM FAM members may receive a sign-up offer through the Zambrero App once they have registered their information. The value of the sign-up offer and the timeframe to claim it may change at our discretion.

    3.3. 
    From time to time we may offer bonus points or vouchers if you complete certain tasks (eg turn on location sharing, allow promotional notifications, refer a friend, sign up to the ZAM FAM program within a specified time frame). We may also offer promotional offers just for ZAM FAM members (eg free delivery if you spend over a specified threshold). Any specific conditions applying to such offers will be communicated on the Zambrero App or website.

    3.4. 
    Some offers are only available at participating stores. Any restrictions on redeeming vouchers will be set out in the Zambrero App.

    3.5. 
    All vouchers expire on the date set out in the Zambrero App.

    3.6. 
    All vouchers will also include their own defined terms and conditions.

    3.7. 
    All vouchers are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash.

  4. Redeeming ZAM FAM points

    4.1. You can use your ZAM FAM points to redeem free items from the ZAM FAM Rewards menu, as set out in the Zambrero App. The ZAM FAM Rewards menu can change from time to time and reward items are subject to availability. Once you have redeemed your reward, the number of corresponding ZAM FAM points for that reward will be deducted from your Zambrero Account. Even if a reward is displayed on the ZAM FAM Rewards menu, the reward may not be available at certain restaurants as those restaurants may not offer the reward item.

    4.2.
    ZAM FAM points and vouchers can only be redeemed for purchases made through the Zambrero App. You cannot redeem ZAM FAM points or vouchers for purchases made in restaurant.

    4.3.
    ZAM FAM points can only be used to redeem an entire, distinct item from the ZAM FAM Rewards menu, and you cannot split price of one item, or any customisations, between points & cash.

    4.4. Points are only redeemable when a purchase is made using cash in the same transaction. Minimum order quantities apply.

    4.5. Prices and points required to redeem may change at any time without notice, and may differ between delivery orders and pick up.
  5. ZAM FAM Communications

    5.1. Unless you have opted out, you agree to us communicating with you via various channels and media (including email, SMS, phone, mail, in app notifications, digital advertising sites and social media).

    5.2.
    You agree that you can opt out of receiving different types of communications from us by changing your preferences in the Zambrero App, clicking “unsubscribe” on the email or following unsubscribe instructions in any SMS text message we send you.

    5.3. 
    We will handle personal information we collect about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  6. Terminating your ZAM FAM membership

    6.1. You can terminate your ZAM FAM membership and user account at any time using the DELETE ACCOUNT button within your Zambrero App account settings.

    6.2. 
    On termination of your membership, all accrued points and any outstanding vouchers or member benefits and offers will be forfeited and can't be retrieved.

    6.3. 
    We can terminate your membership at any time, including if we think you have breached these Terms, or are engaging in fraudulent or inappropriate conduct that undermines our legitimate interests or otherwise misusing the ZAM FAM rewards program, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

    6.4. 
    We can also terminate the ZAM FAM rewards program at any time.

    6.5. 
    Although we try to give you reasonable notice if we intend to terminate your membership or the ZAM FAM rewards program, sometimes this may not be possible (e.g. if you are fraudulently using your membership).

  7. General

    7.1. 
    We try not to change these Terms too often, but sometimes we need to, for example, if the law or our business changes.

    7.2.
    The latest version of these Terms will always be available on the Zambrero App and/or our website. If we change the terms significantly or in a way that negatively impacts you, we will notify you via email.

    7.3. 
    If you don't agree with the change, you can terminate your membership.

    7.4. 
    You accept the latest version of these Terms if you continue to use your membership after we change these Terms.

    7.5. 
    If you have any concerns or complaints about the ZAM FAM Rewards program (e.g. if you think your points balance is incorrect), you can contact us using the Contact Us form on the Zambrero website. We will use reasonable endeavours to investigate any complaints, but our decisions and chosen resolution will be final.

    7.6. 
    Where we give you notice by email or SMS, you agree that the notice is deemed to  have been provided to you on the date of the email or SMS, unless we are notified by your network provider that the notice has not been delivered.
